Yes. Today's word, the widget, the daily reminder and the last 7 days of words are free with no time limit. DailyHebrew Premium is optional, as a yearly or monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The App Store shows the price for your country.
Is it modern or Biblical Hebrew?
Modern spoken Israeli Hebrew, including the slang you hear at the shuk and in the family WhatsApp group.
Do I need to read Hebrew letters first?
No. Every word shows how to say it in English letters, and the Hebrew has vowel marks. You can turn both off as your reading improves.
How many words are there?
Enough for a full year of daily words, plus five phrase packs for situations like renting an apartment or seeing a doctor.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, advertising or tracking. Your progress stays on your iPhone.
