Terms of use
DailyHebrew terms of use
Effective October 3, 2026. These terms cover the DailyHebrew app and this website.
These terms cover your use of the DailyHebrew app, published by Joao Vitor Humenhuk Achutti, a sole trader, 38 Allenby Street, Tel Aviv-Jaffa 6332512, Israel.
What DailyHebrew is
DailyHebrew teaches modern spoken Hebrew one word a day, with forms, example sentences, notes and review. It is a learning aid. Don't rely on it to translate legal, medical or official documents, and check anything important with a fluent speaker.
Free and paid use
Today's word, the widget, the daily reminder and the last 7 days of words are free, with no time limit. DailyHebrew Premium opens every word you have learned, review across all of them and every word in every phrase pack. It is sold as a yearly or monthly subscription, or as one lifetime purchase that does not renew.
Subscriptions
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in Settings on your device. Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
If a subscription ends
Older words, full review and the locked words in phrase packs close again. Your review history stays on your iPhone, and today's word, the widget and the last 7 days stay free.
Your content
Your answers and settings are yours. They are stored on your iPhone. The publisher claims no rights over them and does not hold a copy.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under the terms of the App Store. Write to dailyhebrew@humenhuk.com if something has gone wrong and we will help where we can.
Liability
DailyHebrew is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, liability is limited to the amount you have paid for DailyHebrew in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
