Privacy policy
DailyHebrew privacy policy
Effective October 3, 2026. This policy covers the DailyHebrew app and this website.
DailyHebrew does not collect your data. There is no analytics, no advertising, no behavioral tracking and no third-party software development kit in the app. Nobody working on DailyHebrew can see what you enter.
Where your information is kept
Everything DailyHebrew keeps stays on your iPhone. The widget reads the same settings on the same iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server, and the app does not use iCloud.
What is stored
DailyHebrew keeps the day you started, your reading choices for vowel marks and English spelling, your reminder time, and your review history. The review history is which words you have answered, how often you got each one right, and when each one comes back. The app asks permission to send notifications only for the daily reminder, and the reminders are scheduled on the iPhone itself. Listen uses the Hebrew voice built into iOS. DailyHebrew does not read your photos, contacts or location, and it has no accounts.
Payment
Purchases are handled by Apple. DailyHebrew never sees your payment details. The app uses verified purchase records to check subscription access.
Deleting everything
Settings in DailyHebrew has a "Delete all data" control that removes your review history, reading choices, reminder and start date from this iPhone and starts setup again. Purchases stay with your Apple Account. Deleting the app also removes its local data.
